Abuse reports and law enforcement requests

RudyDesk is remote access software. Screen, audio, chat, camera and files travel directly between devices and are encrypted: the server only connects them.

If someone’s life or health is in danger, call the police or your local emergency number right away.

Report abuse

Give the device ID the offender used (9 digits). You can also report straight from a session: “More” menu → “Report”. We review every report and block the ID when there is a violation.

For law enforcement

Requests are accepted at legal@rudydesk.com in English or Russian. State the authority, document number and date, legal basis, device IDs and period. We respond to requests made in accordance with applicable law and keep a record of them.

What data we have

  • device IDs and IP addresses, times of going online and of sessions, who connected to whom, duration — from the security log for the last 12 months;
  • the fact and time of accepting the Terms of Use; reports about the ID;
  • for paid plans — the buyer’s email address and order data.

What data we do not have

We do not have session content — screen images, audio, chat messages, camera video, files, keystrokes: it travels directly between devices, is encrypted with keys created on the devices themselves and is never recorded. It is technically impossible to hand over. We do not collect users’ names, phone numbers or ID documents.
